We have parent consultation evenings in October and February, when you will have an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress with his / her class teacher and to see his / her work. Please do not feel you have to wait until these meetings, however, if you wish to talk to your child’s teacher. We are a very open school and encourage parents to make every effort to talk to us when there are problems or to share any concerns they have about their child at home or at school. Pupil progress reports are sent home to parents at the end of the summer term.

There are also opportunities throughout the year for parents to learn more about the school’s life and work. These include Curriculum Evenings, where parents can learn more about the teaching of particular subjects and what they can do to help, and open lessons where parents can see how elements of Maths and English are taught.
