The Governors of Brampton Village Primary School are seeking to appoint a Site Manager.
The Site Manager post is for 25-30 hours a week and is required from 20th September 2024.
A vacancy has come up for an enthusiastic and reliable Site Manager to work alongside our Assistant Caretaker.
You will be responsible for ensuring the environment (inside and out) is safe, well maintained and meets Health and Safety requirements. Duties will include premises management, maintenance, liaising with contractors and ensuring the security of the buildings and site.
You will have a friendly and helpful outlook, possess the ability to be a team player as well as working on your own initiative. Excellent customer services skills, including good communication and a flexible approach, is vital to the success of this role. You will have good knowledge of DIY and general maintenance and grounds skills as well as being confident when using computers and a variety of computer based systems.
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent teamwork, organisation and attention to detail. They will need to have a friendly, flexible “hands on” approach and the ability to relate confidently and appropriately with all users of the school; staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
You will be expected to be flexible with times, especially during the school holidays and to cover when the Assistant Caretaker is not available.
Brampton is a large primary school but has a supportive staff and is a valued part of the local community.
Salary is available on request.
