We offer 24 morning places from 9:00am – 11:30am and 24 afternoon places from 12:30pm – 3:00pm each weekday i.e. Monday to Friday. A lunch session is also offered between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm where we use the school hall. Together, these sessions enable us to provide at least 30 hours of pre-school education to which pre-school children are entitled under the Early Years Funding voucher scheme.
You are able to choose up to a maximum of 30 ‘Early Years Funded’ hours; should you wish, you are able to spread your sessions between Brambles Pre-school and other childcare or nursery education providers. Please inform us if this is the case as part of the EYFS we need to work in partnership with other providers where a child shares its time. If you would like your child to attend additional sessions, these will be charged at the voucher rate, which is currently £3.80 per hour (£4.04 from 1.9.17). Any changes will need to occur at the start of each new term. From September 2017 we will be offering up to 30 hours free childcare, depending upon availability.

Parents in Partnership – Supporting Children’s Learning
There are many opportunities for parents to become involved in the work of the pre-school and to gain a greater understanding of the ways in which they can support their child’s learning. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer helper at pre-school, please contact a member of staff.
Regular parent newsletters, information sheets and opportunities to share children’s learning help keep parents up to date with events and the curriculum.
We also encourage parents to come and join us in helping to celebrate with the children customs and traditions from their home. Please let us know if you would like to share these occasions with us.
