Cambridgeshire is the least wooded county in the Country
Brampton-based charity Creating Nature's Corridors is working hard this winter to improve the environment by planting over 19,000 trees and hedging plants. Over 80% of these will be planted in Cambridgeshire with plantings happening at Huntingdon Racecourse, Paus, and Liquid Skillz in Hemingford.
Can you spare some time to come and plant? We know we are in the midst of a climate emergency and we need to plant more trees, combined with the impact of record rainfall a couple of weeks ago and the highest level in local rivers for 30 years. We need to act now.
The Charity will be planting on the following dates and would love some extra helping hands:
16th of February - Huntingdon Racecourse, Huntingdon, PE28
17th of February - Huntingdon Racecourse, Huntingdon, PE28
