Monday 23rd June
12.05pm
We all arrived safely after a good journey. The children are making their beds and learning about the site - all very excited!
5.15pm
All good this afternoon. Activities completed include caving, BMXing, archery and axe throwing. Time for tea and then the evening activity. The sun is out and it is nice and warm!
9.30pm
This evening we have had a fun emoji treasure hunt around the site which was followed by hot chocolate and a biscuit. Everyone is now getting ready for bed and will hopefully sleep well before a fun-filled day tomorrow!
Tuesday 24th June
8.00am
It was a fairly warm night but after some sleep the children are ready for breakfast. Activities this morning include high ropes, bushcraft and BMXing.
1.30pm
It has been a good morning with all the children being brave on the high ropes. We have enjoyed a good lunch and now getting ready for bushcraft which involves den building, fire making and possibly a marshmallow!
7.00pm
We have had a fun afternoon with everyone enjoying the den building. We have been packing for our day out tomorrow when we go to the reservoir for sailing and kayaking. Everyone is in good spirits and have done their chores which have included some hoovering, some stick gathering for the campfire tomorrow and tidying the dorms ready for inspection.
9.30pm
An evening spent playing games and then early to bed to be ready for an exciting day tomorrow. Everyone is tired so hopefully will sleep well!
