Hilltop collection arrangements
Dear parent/carer,
The Hilltop residential coach is due back at 3:30pm.
Please wait on the green until all children have left the coach and been taken safely to the Key Stage 2 hall via the Brambles garden.
Once all children are safely inside, you may enter the Key Stage 2 hall via the Brambles garden to collect your child and any relevant medications.
Kind regards,
Brampton Village Primary School
Last evening update…
Another great day, the giant swing was a huge success you’ll have to ask your child which colour they were swung from!
Everyone has been amazing today, so positive and full of energy and enthusiasm despite starting to feel quite tired now.
An evening activity of campfires and night exploring before starting to pack for heading home.
Day 2 7.35am
Everyone slept well and we are up and eating to go. Just having a hearty breakfast and then off to our activities.
Some are off to the beach this morning while others are trying the high ropes and the Big Zipper.
This afternoon will see some exploring rock pools while others stay on site and try their hand at the Tree Top Trail.
The sun is shining and it promises to be a great day!
Day 2 8.55pm
We’ve had a great day rock pooling, and enjoying looking at sea defences down at the beach. The sun was shining!
Many children overcame fears conquering the high ropes, tree top trail and the Big zipper. The children really impressed us with their team work supporting each other and their bravery and determination.
Ready for bed now with rosey cheeks and smiles on their faces.
Day 4 8.21am
A busy evening with a disco and high spirits! Everyone slept well that’s for sure!
An exciting day ahead as we head out on bikes, beach visits and rock pooling followed this afternoon by the giant swing, high ropes and Big Zipper.
We can’t believe how quickly the week is going!
Another sunny day ☀️ we really are very lucky!
Day 1
We arrived safely and were straight in to setting up dorms and learning about Hilltop.
We have enjoyed activities learning about using safety harnesses and tried some team building and trust games.
We’ve just had dinner and are now off for night orienteering.
Everyone is very excited and still full of energy! Hopefully we’ll all get some rest at some point!
Day 3 10.31am
Another great night’s sleep, a hearty breakfast and we’re off on our activities.
Some are on a hike discovering priory ruins and a beautiful sea view, others are heading to the beach and one group are challenging themselves climbing high.
The sun is shining and the sky is blue - what a wonderful week we are having!
